Instead of spending our first days in Thailand in Bangkok like most other travellers, we decided to fly immediately to Chiang Mai. Bangkok can be a very hot and overwhelming city, and we thought it would be therefore better to acclimatise to the heat and the jet lag in the North, and I think that was a good decision.

Coco Bongo Cancun

Coco Bongo, conveniently located in the center of Cancun´s hotel zone, is the most popular disco in Cancun. Enjoy fancy hollywood shows and dance to latin and modern rock all night long.

How do I get there?: Coco Bongo is located in Forum by the Sea, on Km 9.5 of the Hotel Zone across Party Center. Coco Bongo opens its dance floor at 10:00pm, (usually people arrive around 11:30pm). It is well advised to arrive early to avoid waiting 50 min. to buy your cover or open bar...:)

What can I expect?: Expect the unexpected...Bettlejuice, The Mask, even Madonna, a spectacular laser show, acrobats, totally hollywood! Coco Bongo was rated by Play Boy, MTV and various others as one of the hottest clubs in Latin America. You can´t miss it when visiting Cancun, it´s a must see.

Information: Coco Bongo offers open bar, "All You Can Drink" (only national drinks) available for $40.00 USD or a cover. Entrance Only is $15.00 USD. Coco Bongo doesn´t feature a dance floor. People usually dance on the walkways, tables and chairs and at every place they find... The night club is open every day of the year from 10:00pm until sunrise.
