This motel is located near the Hanoi railway track passing through
Phung Hung Street. Its name is Ngoc Mai Hotel with a daily quoted rate
of USD 15 - 16 dollar a room. The owners are unfriendly and they will
short change you, coerce you to pay a rate that is different from the
rate they first agreed to. They also have drivers who will introduce tourists to them and get a commission at the Noi Bai Airport.
So
beware, never to book into NGOC MAI HOTEL; be sure to memorise the
address of the hotel/motel you have booked in advance. There may be a
few motels with the same name and drivers craving for a bit of extra
pocket money may bring you to a motel with a crook management.
